This act was created for fundraiser - for a rare genetic disorder. The theme is 'Soaring for a Cure'. The act embodies flying and optimism, with some sadness. We are hoping the families affected by this disease felt that. At the end a glowing light is brought down from above the apparatus and passed along to the affected children. We used a compilation of various artists' rendition of the Beatles classic Blackbird, which layer beautifully to convey the breath/depth/complexity of the issue, while remaining extremely hopeful.
